Creating Ripples - Linda PerryLinda Perry is Director of Children's Services at Chestnut Tree House, the children's hospice for Sussex, South East England. She worked with children with complex epilepsy for many years, eventually managing a large team of professors, consultants, doctors, nurses and therapists.
As a child and teenager Linda won many medals for Ballroom Dancing, which she believes gave her the confidence to go for jobs she would not otherwise have done.
A redundancy led to reading an advert for her current job and knowing she was born to the role.
Under Linda's care, Chestnut Tree House has progressed from a small team to a workforce of over 100 employees and 100 volunteers and has expanded to offer a range of palliative care services, supporting over 300 families.
Linda lives with her husband in the middle of the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex where she loves walking her dog and she has two grown up sons.
